This seminar presents the classical views of predestination and free will in key writings of John Calvin and Jacobus Arminius.

The issue of predestination and free will has engendered significant debates in Christianity and continues to be a source of discussion and confusion. In this seminar, we will look at the arguments advanced by the main proponent of each view during the Protestant Reformation in order to deepen our understanding of both perspectives and gain a more biblically informed understanding of the issue.
